Eat Me Café serves up popular menu for young crowd

Eat Me Café is a small restaurant, which opened only two years ago, serving popular snacks and dishes very popular with teens and young adults.

The venue sees its main point of difference as serving great quality delicious food and also offering the latest menu that's a hit with teenagers. Of course, all people are welcome to come and enjoy its good value menu with great service, irrespective of age.

The restaurant is located in the central b usiness district of Vientiane, and serves up ice-cream, spaghetti, beverages, coffee, Lao and modern style international food in a contemporary atmosphere to attract the cool teen crowd.

The restaurant is owned by local businesswoman Ms Malilin Phommala, also known as Ms Lilin. Ms Lilin told Vientiane Times that the price of dishes at the restaurant start from 8,000 kip and go up to 59,000 kip. The restaurant provides a relaxed and happy venue while the menu has something to attract everyone including workers, family groups, friends and other Vientiane residents.

Ms Lilin said her restaurant received a lot of interest and attracted many customers after she posted pictures and prices of the snacks and food served at her restaurant on their Facebook page.

The restaurant currently can serve up to 30 customers at once, though Ms Lilin has plans to expand.

More than 20 customers come to the restaurant every day at lunch and dinner. Most of them are students and state and office employees during lunch and at night time.

The customers expressed satisfaction with the menu and the service of friendly staff. The most popular dishes include spaghetti and ice-cream. Of course, coffee, tea and all kinds of other drinks are also served.

The restaurant is open daily from 11am until 8pm Monday through Friday and has a very modern feel to it.

Eat Me Café is very easy to find and access, located in Thongkang village, Sisattanak district near the Faculty of Engineering.
