Medical staff and health officials gathered last week to mark the 55th Lao Medics Day at Setthathirath Hospital, where they discussed the progress made during the past five-year work plan. Lao Medics Day was first observed on June 18, 1965. Last week’s event was led by Minister of Health Associate Prof. Dr Bounkong Syhavong, ministry officials, and doctors and nurses from various hospitals.
