5. Luxemburg provides 4.6 billion kip to improve health services
Luxemburg has provided more than 4.6 billion kip (477,000 euro) to the Ministry of Health in Laos to strengthen health systems in the districts of three provinces to ensure improved access to quality mother and child health services. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strengthening provincial and district health insurance bureaus in the three provinces was signed on Friday in Vientiane by the Director of the National Health Insurance Bureau, Mr Bounfeng Phoummalaysith, and the Chief Technical Adviser of the Lao-Luxembourg Health Sector Support Programme-II, Mr Peter Heimann. . .
