Asian markets level out but investors still edgy over Greece 
Global Markets Snapshot: Last week's shocker with widespread selling and extended losses moved into Monday's early intraday trading. Nearly all 2012 gains have been wiped out in the market's worst performance since September 2011. The ASX for example was typical of Asian markets last week down 5.6 pct. Asian markets however started to close in the green late yesterday. Newsat etched out a 1 cent gain AU$0.64 -655 and PanAust put on 3 ½ cents to edge up at AU$2.745 but rising on volumes towards AU$2.76.

EDL-Gen rides the waves
Vientiane: EDL-Gen volumes re-emerged in mixed trading. The LSX index plunged 34 points in the opening session when EDL-Gen traded down -200 kip for 4,800 kip per share in sessions 1, 2, 3 and 5. But that was short lived as the stock closed at 5,000 kip by the 4th and 6th closing yesterday on much stronger volumes than the previous day's 339 shares.

Turnover at LSX lower for 3rd straight session
Vientiane: Resistance set in as turnover faded for EDL-Gen. BCEL had a good volumes day in an uninspiring session. The LSX set the pace when it opened on some small trades with EDL-Gen up 100 kip to 5050 kip but then down 50 kip on a handful of stocks.
