- Govt, partners step up fight against trafficking in tourism
Government officials and partners from international organisations are joining forces to combat trafficking and child sexual exploitation in the tourism industry. - Preparations underway for 2025 population and housing census
Lao authorities need to cooperate with development partners to source additional funding to carry out the Population and Housing Census in 2025. - University hosts health checks for chicken farmers 
Staff at the Faculty of Agriculture, National University of Laos, and residents of Pakxabmay village in Xaythany district on Tuesday gathered at the university for health checks for members of the Lao Chicken Farmers’ Group. - Phongsaly moves to prevent locust swarm
Agriculture and forestry officials in Phongsaly province have joined forces with villagers to gather up locust eggs in a bid to ward off a locust invasion and forestall the spread of the crop pests. Their combined efforts have so far yielded a haul of 134.8 eggs which they removed from 78 locations in seven districts of the province.
