- Historic passenger train named Lane Xang to arrive on Friday
The first passenger train to run on the Laos-China railway, which is scheduled to open on December 2, is expected to arrive in Vientiane on Friday.

- Thousands of users access online education platform
Khang Panya Lao, a digital teaching and learning platform, so far has over 30,000 registered users, with one user possibly having 2-3 children accessing the platform.
The platform has been tested for use in Laos since late April 2021 and the Ministry of Education and Sports recently officially launched Khang Panya Lao as the country’s first national digital teaching and learning platform.
Khang Panya Lao has been developed with the support of UNICEF and in collaboration with the European Union and the Global Partnership for Education, to support children’s learning during the Covid pandemic....More >>>
