23 Km Farm, an organic escape with tasty food

A day at an organic farm, where nature, good food and fun come together

Just a short drive from Vientiane, 23 Km Farm is more than a destination, it’s an experience. Nestled in a lush, spacious and green area, an organic farm invites visitors to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the simple joys of nature, tasty food, and togetherness.
Whether you’re a family seeking a weekend outing, a couple looking for a peaceful date spot, or a foodie in search of a fresh, flavourful meal, this is the perfect escape.
As you arrive, the soft breeze carries the scent of blooming flowers, and wide open fields stretch out under the clear blue sky. The vibrant surroundings instantly calm the mind and refresh the soul.
Our farm-to-table restaurant offers a delightful menu featuring both Lao and international dishes from local favourites to western-style comfort food like creamy spaghetti, wood-fired pizza, cake, bread and crispy french fries.
Every dish is made using ingredients grown on-site or sourced from local organic producers.
Quench your thirst with refreshing herbal drinks, smoothies, or one of our specialty coffees, brewed fresh and served in our garden-view café corner surrounded by colourful blooms and butterflies.

Pupils at Diamond International School learn how to make compost. Children enjoy a model buffalo.
A tasty pizza is always popular with children.

Spaghetti and crispy french fries served up at the 23 Km farm.

But what truly sets 23 Km Farm apart is the rich variety of activities that bring nature and learning to life.
Children can explore safely in our open, grassy play zones, and join in fun, hands-on experiences like planting vegetables, making compost, or learning how organic farming helps protect the planet.
Adults can enjoy a peaceful flower-picking session, join interactive gardening workshops, or take a slow walk through scenic farm trails.
Whether you want to relax under the shade of a tree, take photos in the sunflower field, or learn about sustainable farming practices, there’s always something new to discover.
Don’t miss our signature café corner! With rustic wooden décor, flower arches, and cozy outdoor seating, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cappuccino and snap some beautiful, nature-filled photos.
Popular photo zones include a restaurant, the flower tunnel, ancient Cultural House, organic veggie gardens, and a long road with many different photo spots, children’s toy zone, sunflower zone, and other fun places.
At 23 Km Farm, every visit is a chance to slow down, breathe deep, eat well, and learn something new. It’s a place where food tastes better because it’s grown with care.
Come and explore the beauty of organic living  where every bite is pure, every bloom is vibrant, and every moment is naturally meaningful.
Recently, Diamond International School took their students on a visit to the farm to learn about organic farming practices.
Kindergartners enjoyed an amazing trip, delving deeper into the theme of “Sharing the Planet”. They had a fantastic time learning how to make compost and how to plant and care for seedlings. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that highlighted the importance of caring for our environment.
The children showed how they can be inquirers and communicators while exploring nature and posing insightful questions. This experience highlighted the fact that learning extends beyond the classroom.
The 23 Km Farm is located in Phailom village in Xaythany district, Vientiane. About 30km from the city centre, it is a popular resting point for travellers heading south, providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a coffee and some tasty food.
