New Café Amazon Laos products highlight local flavours

Café Amazon Laos has unveiled two new products made from high-quality local ingredients, offering customers refreshing new options while helping to promote Lao produce and support local communities.
The products – Amazon Drip Coffee Typica and 100 percent Lao Orange Juice -- were offic+ially launched during the Made in Laos 2025 Fair in Vientiane.

Both are expected to appeal to local consumers and visitors alike, showcasing the unique flavours of Laos.
Managing Director of PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd., Mr Peravej Na Ranong, said the company has consistently worked to develop new products every year as part of its efforts to promote local ingredients and provide more choices for consumers.

“We see that Laos has many quality and unique products that can be promoted and generate income for local communities. This year, we introduced drip coffee and orange juice at the fair, and these will soon be available at Café Amazon outlets across the country,” he said.
The Drip Coffee Typica is made from Typica coffee beans grown on the Bolaven Plateau in Champasak province, an area renowned for its rich volcanic soil and favourable climate that produces some of the best Arabica varieties in the world, the company Deputy Managing Director, Non-Oil Business, Mr Chansavang Sikhampheng, said.
Typica coffee, one of the earliest species cultivated in southern Laos, is been prized for its smooth flavour and aroma.
Meanwhile, the 100 percent Lao Orange Juice is made entirely from mandarins cultivated in Vangvieng district, Vientiane province, an area long known for producing high-quality oranges with a naturally sweet and refreshing taste.

“We want more people to know about Lao products, from coffee to fruit, through their distinct flavours and origins,” Mr Peravej said. “By bringing these items to Café Amazon outlets nationwide, we are supporting farmers while giving customers new experiences to enjoy.”
Café Amazon Laos has previously introduced Lao Drip Coffee Bolaven (Amazon Bolaven Champasak Laos), which was warmly welcomed by both Lao and foreign customers. Building on this success, the company is continuing to expand its locally sourced product line.
