Venerable Bounsy expressed sincere appreciation to LBC for taking a leading role in mobilising resources for the project. He said the school will play a crucial role in improving access to education for novice monks from 91 temples in the district, comprising 754 monks, 11 monk teachers, and 175 monk students, many of whom previously faced difficulties travelling to central Vientiane to pursue their studies.
The LBC representative said the company recognises the importance of education and the challenges faced by monk students, adding that top management prioritised the allocation of a dedicated budget and initiated a fundraising campaign across its network to support the project.
“For more than 15 years, LBC has remained committed to human resource development and social contribution as part of national development,” Mr Sithixay Ketthavong said.
LBC reaffirmed its commitment to community development and pledged to continue mobilising support from business partners and members of the Beerlao Partner Club to ensure the successful completion and long-term sustainability of the secondary school at Na Hai Forest Temple.
