An exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II opens at the Russian Center of Science and Culture on Thursday, displaying photographs and documents about the decisive contribution of the Soviet people in the defeat of fascism. The exhibition was visited by cadets at the Kaysone Phomvihane Military Academy, who took part in the film screening and discussion of the film “The Great Patriotic War: Repeating History”. On May 9, Moscow will host a parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II.

A representative of China’s Monsoon Wind Power Company Limited and Power Construction Corporation (CHINAPOWER) (right) on Tuesday donates US$445,000 for the repair of Road 16B over a distance of 8 kilometres. The funds were handed over to an official from Xekong province’s Public Works and Transport Department (left).
