Representatives of Attapeu province’s Administration’s Office, provincial Departments of Planning and Investment, Industry and Commerce, Natural Resources and Environment, and Agriculture and Forestry, district representatives, and management of the Attapeu Cassava Processing Factory Company Limited on Wednesday sign a concession agreement on the construction of a cassava flour processing plant. Also planned is a potato processing plant to make noodles and other products. The Thai Ambassador to Laos, Ms Morakot Sriswasdi, and her staff on Wednesday meet Xaysomboun province authorities and other officials to discuss ways to partner in trade, investment, and tourism. Meetings were held with the province’s Industry and Commerce Department when cooperation and investment from Thailand was suggested in areas of development potential.
