Joint Development Bank Public, Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd. ink agreement on business partnership
The Joint Development Bank (JDB) Public and Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd. have agreed to cooperate as strategic business partners with the aim of improving services for the maximum benefit of customers.
An agreement on the partnership was signed on June 26 at the headquarters of the Joint Development Bank Public in Vientiane by the Managing Director and CEO of the JDB, Mr Sakhone Yorphanxay, and the CEO of Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd., Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit.
Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd., creator of the leading e-wallet M moneyX, now becomes a strategic partner of JDB, pledging their shared commitment to innovate and enhance customer services through modern solutions.

The signing was witnessed by the Director General of Lao Telecommunication Public Company, Mr Souphol Chanthavixay; Deputy Director General of Lao Telecommunication Public Company, Mr Latthapanya Khieovongphachanh; and other officials from both sides.
The Managing Director and CEO of the Joint Development Bank, Mr Sakhone Yorphanxay, said the cooperation is a strategic business partnership in developing services, developing products and developing systems together, to facilitate and maximise the benefits for the customers of both parties, in expanding the service network to meet the market needs of users and support future market growth.
Importantly, in launching the service, both parties, namely MmoneyX and the Joint Development Bank, have jointly developed a variety of products to open up services to users, including telecommunications payment services, financial transaction connections between the M moneyX and JDB YES apps, the development of API Dynamic QR shops and merchants, and the connection of the Payments Gateway (Card Payments) system.
The CEO of Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd., Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit, said the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will promote and expand new customer bases for both parties, maintain a joint customer base, and facilitate the use of both parties’ products in ways that are modern and diverse, based on the concepts of innovation and inclusivity.
