Defender Owner Experience 2025 showcases essential tips for car care and maintenance

Lao Land Rover on July 16 hosted the exclusive ‘Defender Owner Experience’ at the Lao Land Rover Showroom to share invaluable insights with Defender owners on how to care for and maintain their vehicles during the rainy season—whether a plug-in-hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) or a conventional fuel-powered car— to enhance basic and practical skills for clients.

The objective of the event was to foster deeper understanding of proper vehicle usage and the importance of maintenance. Attendees included Defender owners and distinguished guests from various sectors.

The event was opened by the Managing Director of RMA Automotive, Mr Biju Narayaban; General Manager of Lao Land Rover, Ms Nouchana Chaleunsouk; and Lao Land Rover After Sales & Bodyshop Manager, Mr Antonis Lonappan.
A highlight of the event was specialised experts sharing insightful information on key aspects with participants, such as guidance concerning Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), Software Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates, and how to use different Terrain Response driving modes to tackle Laos’ diverse road conditions.

Participants also enjoyed live demonstrations and explanations of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) conducted by Land Rover-certified master technicians with over 10 years of experience at the Work Bay.
This showcased the brand’s dedication to precision, attention to detail, and proper care for clients’ vehicles.
During the event, Mr Bounmee Sengmany shared his real and personal experiences and impressions in driving the Defender, followed by an interactive Q&A session where the Lao Land Rover team engaged directly with the audience.
The Defender Owner Experience 2025 drew significant interest from Laos’ Defender enthusiast community, creating a lively atmosphere and providing a great opportunity for Defender owners to share real-world driving experiences.
