A representative from the Saint Phila Convention Hall in Vientiane on Friday presents 250 million kip to the President of the WIG Naga Soccer Academy, Mr Viengxay Wilaikul, to finance the future endeavours of the Academy’s U-13 team, which won the IBER Cup in Portugal earlier this month.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, Ms Morakot Sriswasdi, and an official delegation visit the Lao Red Cross headquarters last week to donate 100 million kip (about 150,000 baht) to purchase equipment to assist flood-affected communities across Laos. The donation was received by the President of the Lao Red Cross, Mr Khamlavanh Chanthalavanh, who expressed heartfelt thanks for Thailand’s timely support.
