Government officials and representatives of Laos’ development partners attend a workshop on the Disability Information Management System Action Plan, held from July 15-17 in Vangvieng district, Vientiane province. The workshop was organised under the Community-Based Rehabilitation Project, funded by MOFA Lux in collaboration with the Centre of Medical Reha-bilitation, Ministry of Health, and the Department of Policy for Devotees, Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly (DPDE), Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The event brought together 24 representatives, from the health, education, social welfare, and statistics sectors. Participants reviewed and refined the draft Disability Information Management System Action Plan to ensure inclusive and coordinated inputs for improving disability data management. The draft will be revised and finalised by the DPDE based on participant feedback before wider dissemination.
