Head of the China Media Group (CMG), Ms Sengkeo, on Sunday explains photographs to Lao government leaders visiting the Laos-China photo exhibition titled “Wings of Peace” at the Vientiane Centre. The exhibit, organised by the CMG in cooperation with the Propaganda and Training Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee, is open to the public from August 31 to September 6. The exhibition conveys the idea that art and memory are like wings, carrying reflections of history and hopes for the future, and soaring towards the shores of peace. Most of the photographs portray events dating from China’s wartime period 80 years ago.
