Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone shows keen interest in Toyo Lao’s domestic innovations as President Dr Langkone Xaignavong details the company’s vital contribution to national development. |
“At this year’s event, we’re showcasing our full range, including our reliable PVC pipe, HDPE pipe, DWC Pipe, PPR pipe, Underground power pipe and telecom conduit pipe ,” Dr Langkone said.
“Crucially, earlier this year we introduced Israel’s advanced drip tape technology. We now produce this locally in Laos, and it is a massive step towards saving water in agriculture.”
He also highlighted a practical solution for the nation’s urban beauty and safety. “We are also producing flexible electrical conduits for use in homes and in public urban areas. Our cities currently face a growing challenge with the tangle of electricity and other wires. Our underground conduit system offers a safe and aesthetic solution to help keep our cities beautiful and safe.”
Established in 2016, Toyo Industry Lao Factory Sole Company Limited utilises modern European and Asian technology in its production processes and adheres strictly to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Toyo Lao maintains a fully equipped laboratory and implements stringent quality control processes to ensure its products meet both national and international standards.
“We are proud to have held the ‘Made in Laos’ logo for over eight years and to be ISO certified,” Dr Langkone said. “This commitment to quality has earned us the trust of government leaders, international organisations, national water enterprises, and major irrigation, funded projects, and various business units.”
Toyo’s pipes are fundamentally changing how Laos manages its most essential resources. The company is an active association member, supporting vital sectors from agricultural promotion and cattle breeding for export to the durian plantation association.
“Importantly, our piping is replacing the traditional open canals in irrigation,” added Dr Langkone. “This innovation helps the sector save significantly on both electricity and water costs across the country.”
By serving a striking eight key sectors, the company significantly increases its impact on wider area development in the country.
Toyo’s essential products are the foundation of modern Lao infrastructure: Rural and Urban Water Supplies; Pipe Systems in buildings: For industrial factories, special economic zones, shopping centres, hotels, and hospitals; Pipe Systems in Energy and Mining Irrigation Pipe Systems: Vital for preventing both drought and flood damage; Agriculture, Public Parks, and Golf Courses; Drainage Pipe Systems: Crucial for draining floodwater from cities; Flexible Electrical Conduits: For safety and organisation in household, public urbanisation, and solar systems; and Pipes for Delivery: Gas, petroleum, and chemical industries.
