ELITRY® brand seeks to place Laos in global spotlight

Two young Lao business operators are seeking to elevate the lifestyle of the Lao people with the launch of the ELITRY® GROUP in Vientiane, aiming to meet the needs of the elite in keeping with international trends.

ELITRY® GROUP Chief Exponential officer (CEO), Mr Marino Konnyvong, and Chief Strategic Officer (CSO), Ms Phonethida Somsaath, hosted a luxury event to officially promote the group in Vientiane, which was attended by young business executives, celebrities, foreign residents, and upper-class guests.
During the opening ceremony, the two leaders of the Group presented their vision for the ELITRY® brand, which they hope will be the first Lao luxury brand name associated with high quality products relating to fashion, health, beauty and elegance, in a bid to respond to the needs of the elite in Laos.
“We believe that every person has an inner elite style, but not everyone can find solutions to their needs and truly express themselves, so we are trying our best to find solutions from around the world for them because we believe that people living in Laos can truly shine on the international stage, given appropriate and suitable solutions,” CEO Mr Marino said.
It is this concept that has inspired Mr Marino and Ms Phonethida to set up the ELITRY® GROUP. They want Lao people to enjoy high quality products of international standard at a reasonable price, and to improve the quality of life of people in Laos.
“We will build the ELITRY® brand name into something that Lao people can be proud of, and that can hold its own on the international stage. We believe those people are ready and we too are ready to help you achieve success as you strive to meet and surpass your goals in life,” CEO Marino said.
ELITRY® is derived from Elite+Entry, meaning that the Group will find the best solutions to further elevate the status and lifestyle of the elite.

CSO Phonethida told the Vientiane Times “Although we’re born to be Lao, our Group is not conducting business solely in Laos. We have associated with a well-know american chairman so we have invited one of the famous business an American to be a Chairman of group to help enlarge our business throughout Asia first, before expanding the brand to Europe and then America.”
“All of the products we have selected are associated with global trends, not just trends in Laos. Our vision is for Laos to be a starting point, but our goal is to go international and we believe our products will provide the answer for international markets in many countries.”
Ms Phonethida believes that being Lao does not limit a person’s aspirations but that with world class ambitions, and trust in people with vision and international ability, a person can achieve anything they wish in the world.
At the opening ceremony, the dynamic duo gave a video presentation of the products on offer from ELITRY®, such as THE MOVE®, which recommends style solutions; THE LIFE®, which dispenses advice on health; THE GLOW® and THE SHINE® for beauty suggestions; and THE GLANCE® for tips on elegance.
Asian Disaster Preparedness Center Executive Director Mr Hans Guttman said the ELITRY® GROUP is fully prepared to make the most of this enterprising opportunity and is ready to provide opportunities and rewards for those who choose to join them.
“Everyone has perfection within themselves and ELITRY will help you to unlock your beauty, elegance, and perfection. Some people are endowed with these attributes at birth, but much of it comes from confidence and attitude. This means you can benefit from developing these desirable traits,” he said.
He added that while the Group is aiming high, hopes to achieve great goals, and move way beyond Laos, it remains grounded in Laos.
“As you may be aware, Lao people have hidden capabilities, ambitions and opportunities,” he said.
“I am confident that the ELITRY Group will achieve success and I look forward to being supportive and fully engaged with you all,” Mr Guttman concluded.
The ELITRY® GROUP has given interviews to media personnel in neighbouring countries, including from Forbes magazine, Vogue, Elle and Praew Thailand, to promote their business vision.
