Tigerhead drinking water charitably supports the nation’s poor

In response to a growing need for charitable assistance in Lao society, Tigerhead-brand drinking water recently provided financial support to volunteer groups for their charitable activities which help vulnerable people in need.

As a trusted and active supporter of charitable initiatives, Laos’ leading drinking water brand has given 50 million kip to the rescue team of the Foundation for Assisting Poor People of the Lao PDR, who are true heroes for impoverished people.

The donation was handed over on June 2, 2021 to the rescue team stationed in Nonghay village, Hadxaifong district, Vientiane.
Mr Sitthixay Kettavong, Director of Social Activity and Administration Affairs at Lao Brewery Company Ltd., which manufactures Tigerhead drinking water, handed over the funds to the presidents of the rescue team, Mrs Phouthone Phoumsavanh and Mrs Sisaliao Thammatheva.
The donation will enable the team to provide essential and emergency assistance to members of the public by financing their charitable activities.   
Lao Brewery Company Ltd., especially its Tigerhead-brand drinking water, has always extended support and assistance for charitable activities, making the brand a market leader both in popularity and in contribution to society.
As Laos is currently struggling to contain a second wave of Covid-19, the company has been an important supporter of the government’s effort to contain the outbreak.
To this end, the company recently provided more than 2.5 billion kip in total to provinces across Laos to finance their actions to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.

Last year, the company also provided 2 billion kip to support the government’s response to the pandemic.
In addition, the company pays great attention to promoting the customs and cultures of Laos, along with supporting sports, health, and education initiatives, such as providing scholarships to disadvantaged students with a good academic track record.
