Vietnamese Party chief to visit Laos

General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, together with a high-ranking delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, will pay a state visit to Laos on February 5-6, according to the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two-day visit by the Vietnamese Party leader and his high-ranking delegation is in response to an invitation from the Party Secretary General and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith.
The aim of the visit is to further deepen the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic partnership between Laos and Vietnam, to achieve more fruitful results.
