Phouvong Jewelry partners with BCEL to launch “Swipe & Save with BCEL Mastercard” campaign valued at over 400 million kip

Phouvong Jewelry, one of Laos’ most trusted gold retailers with more than 40 years of history and renowned for its 99.99 percent purity gold, has entered into a partnership with Banque pour le Commerce Extérieur Lao Public (BCEL), one of the country’s most widely used commercial banks, to launch a special joint promotional campaign. 

Titled “Phouvong Jewelry - Swipe & Save with BCEL Mastercard, the total campaign value exceeds 400 million kip.
The campaign officially launched on February 2, marking the first formal collaboration between the two long-established brands, both of which have maintained a strong presence in Lao society for decades. Aimed to enhance customer convenience, this initiative expands modern payment options for gold purchases.

Under the conditions of the campaign, customers who purchase at least 3.75g of gold jewellery or bullion at any KPV store are entitled to a 50,000 kip discount. Furthermore, customers can receive discounts of up to 2,000,000 kip for purchases totalling up to 150 grams of gold per card, per day, and per branch. Daily discounts are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The promotion runs from February 2-17, 2026, and is exclusively available to BCEL Mastercard cardholders. Participating branches include four main Phouvong Jewelry locations, including:

·       Phouvong Jewelry Shop, Wangthong Branch
·       Phouvong Jewelry Shop, Vientiane Center Branch

This collaboration represents a significant milestone as the first official partnership between two leading Lao brands, reflecting a shared objective to improve customer convenience and expand fast, secure, and modern payment solutions in line with the country’s evolving digital landscape.
