The hospital will create job opportunities for local people and give local medical personnel the chance to rise to internationally-accepted standards, because they will have the opportunity to work with foreign specialists.
“A feasibility study indicated that Laos needs more access to international standard medical services at a price that is affordable to the masses, so we made the bold decision to build this hospital to meet the demands of society,” Ms Vimala said.
She expressed the strong belief that the hospital would deliver great benefits for the Lao people and the country’s socio-economic development.
It will provide medical treatment using modern technology and attract highly experienced foreign experts to help boost expertise in certain areas of medical care.
The hospital will provide effective treatment on a par with that provided in other countries, to be made available to all classes of people, regardless of class or religion.
Mr Ronnachit said “This hospital is not only envisioned as a medical facility, but also as a centre of trust, confidence, and renewed hope in healthcare for our region.”
He expressed the hope that the groundbreaking ceremony was an auspicious beginning to the project, saying “It reflects our shared commitment to building an international standard hospital which operates with responsibility, transparency, and dedication to every patient’s life.”
“The Patrangsit Healthcare Group’s vision and mission focuses on delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care at affordable prices for our patients,” Mr Ronnachit said.
“We will continuously strive to improve the hospital to meet international standards, such as JCI accreditation, and aim to build strong collaborations with local agencies and contribute to the development of local medical personnel, equipping them with greater skills and expertise.”
