Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd, the creator of a leading e-wallet M moneyX, has entered into a strategic partnership with Joint Development Bank (JDB), pledging their shared commitment to innovate and enhance customer services through modern solutions.
On June 26, at JDB’s headquarters in Vientiane, this significant partnership was reached when Managing Director and CEO of JDB, Mr Sakhone Yorphanxay signed the cooperation agreement with CEO of Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd, Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit.
The event was attended by Director General of Lao Communications Public Company, the parent company of Lao Mobile Money, Mr Souphon Chanthavixay, along with senior executives from both organisations.
This collaboration signifies a shared vision to develop and modernise banking and mobile financial services, creating a seamless experience for customers. Both parties are committed to expanding their service networks, meeting the growing demand from consumers, and staying ahead of future market trends.
Together, they are already working on innovative projects to bring enhanced services to users. These include new telecommunications payment services, bridging financial transactions between the M moneyX app and JDB YES, as well as developing a Dynamic QR API for shops and merchants, and integrating advanced Payment Gateway systems for smooth card payments.
Mr Alounnadeth expressed optimism about the collaboration: "This partnership marks an important milestone. By jointly developing a diverse range of products, we are committed to delivering innovative services that benefit consumers and strengthen our market presence. This is a significant step toward expanding our customer base while also maintaining the loyalty of our existing users."
With this forward-thinking approach, Lao Mobile Money and JDB are set to revolutionise the landscape of mobile financial and banking services in Laos. Their dedication to innovation and customer-centric solutions will pave the way for continued growth and success for both parties—and most importantly—enhance the experience for their valued customers.
