Announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR

In response to the invitation of H.E. Mr Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, H.E. Mr Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, spouse and delegation, will pay a state visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic from 3-5 July 2025.
The visit will mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and will further enhance the traditional friendly relations and deepen fruitful cooperation between two neighbouring countries.
