Lao Telecom partners with Bundesliga to bring top-tier football
Football fans in Laos will enjoy Germany’s top-tier football league following a cooperation agreement reached between the Lao Telecommunications Public Company Group and the Bundesliga in Vientiane on September 1.
The Lao Telecommunica-tions Public Company Group – including Lao Telecom, TPlus and M-MoneyX – held a ceremony for signing the agreement with the Bundesliga to upgrade world-class entertainment and launch the newly formatted “LTC Play” platform.

The ceremony was chaired by the Managing Director of the Lao Telecommunications Public Company Group, Mr Souphol Chanthavixay, the President of the Lao National Football Federation, Mr Viphet Sihachakr, the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Laos, Mr Werner Grohé, and the Head of Strategic Projects APAC at Bundesliga Media, Mr Mano Nhouvannasak.
The event was also attended by Directors General from the Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Mass Media Department, alongside executives, employees, and representatives of business partners, media outlets, and local football clubs.
Through this cooperation, Lao Telecom Group becomes the first telecommunication network in Laos to acquire full Bundesliga live broadcast rights. Coupled with the official launch of the updated LTC Play platform, this partnership underscores the company’s vision for delivering premium international football and elevated digital entertainment experiences to Lao audiences through technology and digital platforms.
This partnership is not limited to bringing a sports experience to football fans, but also reflects Lao Telecom Group’s vision to develop a complete digital ecosystem and create new experiences for users.
By bringing the reputation of one of Europe’s leading football leagues to Lao Telecom Group’s digital platform, this partnership will be another important step in upgrading digital entertainment in Laos.
