Lao Telecom Group Partners with Bundesliga to Launch the All-New LTC Play

VIENTIANE, Laos — September 1, 2026 — Lao Telecom Group, comprising Lao Telecom, TPlus, and MmoneyX, officially signed a landmark partnership agreement with the Bundesliga, Germany’s premier football league. The partnership makes Lao Telecom Group the first network operator in the Lao PDR to secure comprehensive official live broadcasting rights for the Bundesliga. The event also marked the official relaunch of "LTC Play," the group’s upgraded digital entertainment platform designed for the modern digital lifestyle.

The signing ceremony took place in Vientiane and was presided over by Mr Souphol Chanthavixay, Director General of Lao Telecommunications Public Company. The event was attended by high-level dignitaries, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, including Mr Viphet Sihachakr, President of the Lao Football Federation, Mr Werner Grohé, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vientiane and Mano Nhouvannasak, Head of Strategic Projects APAC at Bundesliga Media.
Senior officials from the Department of High-Performance Sport and the Department of Media and executive management and staff from Lao Telecom Group companies, business partners, media representatives, and football fans.
