BREAKING: Mr Saleumxay Kommasith has been elected Prime Minister of Laos.

Mr Saleumxay, the former Standing Deputy Prime Minister, was elected on Monday morning by the Second Ordinary Session of the National Assembly’s 10th Legislature, which opened on Monday. He succeeds Dr Sonexay Siphandone.
