Vietnamese Prime Minister to visit Laos to strengthen bilateral ties

Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will pay an official visit to Laos during October 8-9 at the invitation of Lao Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will be accompanied by a high-level delegation of the government of Vietnam.
The visit is aimed at further strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic partnership between Laos and Vietnam, and contributing to make the bilateral relationship increasingly substantive and fruitful.
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for the two sides to discuss measures to further deepen bilateral cooperation and promote the longstanding ties between the two neighbouring countries.
