PTT (Lao) promotes Bolaven coffee, community products at ‘Made in Laos’ expo

PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd. is showcasing its steadfast commitment to local agricultural development and community empowerment by participating in the annual “Made in Laos 2026” exhibition, taking place from October 3-11 at the Lao International Exhibition and Convention Centre (Lao-ITECC) in Vientiane.
The company’s Café Amazon exhibition booth was honoured to welcome a high-level government delegation on the afternoon of October 5 during the official opening ceremony.
The delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr Santiphab Phomvihane, alongside Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr Malaithong Kommasith, the President of the Business Women’s Association, Mrs Chanthachone Vongsay, and other senior ministry officials, who visited the display to observe PTT (Lao)’s progress in promoting indigenous Lao goods.

The showcase builds upon PTT (Lao)’s ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under the “Best Lao Products” initiative. The programme is designed to elevate the quality of local produce, create sustainable value addition, and secure reliable incomes for Lao farmers and small enterprises.
Under the concept “meeting every coffee lifestyle”, Café Amazon presented its latest developments in local sourcing. Speaking at the event, the Director of Café Amazon (PTT Lao Co., Ltd.), Mr Peravej Na Ranong, noted that following the success of Bolaven drip and typica coffee introduced last year, the company has taken another step forward in product innovation.
“In previous years, our coffee capsules were imported from Thailand,” Mr Peravej explained. “This year, we have successfully developed coffee capsules made entirely from 100 percent coffee beans grown on the Bolaven Plateau. We are proud to feature them at Made in Laos 2026, and we expect these new local capsules to be available at our branches early next year. We provides machines for coffee capsules in partner hotels and the Lao coffee capsules will be available there too.”
Beyond coffee, PTT (Lao) is expanding its range of locally sourced beverages and snacks. Following the successful distribution of One District, One Product (ODOP) certified fresh orange juice across Café Amazon stores, the company is currently finalising fresh coconut water products for launch in 2027.
PTT (Lao) is also collaborating with rural community producers to introduce local snacks—such as crispy fried bananas, fried pumpkin, and baked cereal and bananas—into Café Amazon’s retail network. The company provides technical support in packaging and production techniques to extend product shelf life and improve logistics for long-distance transport, ensuring these 100 percent Lao-made items meet commercial standards while preserving their authentic quality.
PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd. said its participation in “Made in Laos 2026” underlines its long-term corporate vision: growing sustainably alongside Lao society by turning local potential into high-value products nationwide.
