Laos calls for end to Israel-Palestine conflict through peaceful resolution

The Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday issued a statement urging all parties involved in the violent hostilities between Israel and Palestine to exercise the utmost restraint, cease all acts of violence, and jointly resolve the conflict by peaceful means.
The statement read “The Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) has been closely following with grave concern over the current violent hostilities between Israel and Palestine which have resulted in the loss of many lives and properties. Lao PDR urges all parties concerned to exercise utmost restraint, cease all acts of violence, and jointly resolve the conflict by peaceful means. Lao PDR calls on all parties concerned to resume a negotiation process and restore mutual trust for solving the long-overdue Palestinian issue through the establishment of two sovereign states coexisting peacefully in line with the relevant UN resolutions and international law.”

Ms Martin Tagre, said agriculture and managing water and other natural resources sustainably will ensure food, nutrition and a good life for all.
