Three companies join forces to develop “Sanae Lao” restaurant brand

Three companies have joined forces to develop the “Sanae Lao” restaurant brand, aiming to present traditional Lao cuisine in a modern style and introduce it to a wider audience.
On October 12, PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd., The Zixgar Group Co., Ltd. and Savankham Food and Beverage Sole Co., Ltd. signed a business cooperation agreement for the “Sanae Lao” restaurant project.
The project is designed as a casual dining restaurant offering a relaxed atmosphere and easy accessibility. Its menu will feature a fusion style that adapts traditional Lao dishes and presents them in a modern format while preserving the distinctive identity of Lao cuisine.
The first “Sanae Lao” restaurant is scheduled to open near the Mekong River in Vat Chan village, Chanthabouly district, Vientiane. It will be located in the same building as the Café Amazon Vat Chan Mekong Riverside branch.

Through this cooperation, the three companies aim to establish a distinctive restaurant brand where Lao and foreign customers can discover and experience Lao cuisine in a new way. The project also seeks to develop service standards and enhance the overall dining experience.
Under the agreement, PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd. will be responsible for investment and overseeing project standards. The Zixgar Group Co., Ltd. will lead concept development, brand building, design and training, while Savankham Food and Beverage Sole Co., Ltd. will oversee management and restaurant operations.
The partnership combines the three companies’ respective responsibilities to develop the restaurant concept and establish the “Sanae Lao” brand, with a focus on presenting Lao cuisine in a contemporary setting.
Looking ahead, the three companies plan to jointly study the feasibility of expanding “Sanae Lao” to major towns across Laos. The study will focus on locations with strong potential, particularly easily accessible sites in community hubs and tourist areas.
Mekong riverside locations will also be considered, as their atmosphere suits the restaurant’s concept. However, any expansion will depend on the results of the feasibility study and joint deliberations by all three companies.
The signing of the cooperation agreement is an important step in the companies’ efforts to elevate Lao cuisine by transforming the value of traditional food into a contemporary restaurant brand. Through modern presentation, brand development and service standards, the project aims to build greater recognition of Lao cuisine among a broader customer base.
By combining traditional Lao food with a modern dining concept, “Sanae Lao” seeks to offer customers a new way to experience the country’s culinary identity while laying the groundwork for the brand’s potential development in other cities in Laos.
