Lao Telecommunications Company Group receives Outstanding Business Leader Award
Lao Telecommunications Company Group was awarded the Lao Business Leader Award on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI).
The award ceremony was held on the evening of November 14, 2025, at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane.

The award was presented by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Malaythong Kommasith, and received by the Deputy Director General of Lao Telecommunications Public Company, Mr Alounnadeth Barnchith, and the Director of TPlus Digital Company Limited, Mr Thonekeo Syhavong.
Lao Telecommunications Company Group has been actively involved in creating opportunities for digital development in Lao society.
The group has also expanded the 5G telecommunications network to remote areas that previously lacked coverage. This has helped provide signal control across all regions.
As a result, the continuous development of services and social support has led Lao Telecommunications Company Group to receive numerous honourable awards, including national and international accolades, especially the Outstanding Business Leader Award 2024 for the 35th anniversary of the LNCCI.
Deputy Director General of Lao Telecommunications Public Company, Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit, said that throughout the 29 years since the company’s establishment and its membership in the LNCCI, the group has focused on providing telecommunications services, becoming the first Digital Service Provider in Laos.
The company has emphasised continuous development and the introduction of new technologies to serve the people. Its slogan is “Lao Telecom, telecommunications of the Lao people for Lao society”.
