BCEL recognised as leading business at LNCCI’s 35th anniversary
Banque pour le Commerce Extérieur Lao (BCEL) was recognised as an Outstanding Leading Business at the 35th anniversary celebrations of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) last week.
The awards ceremony was held at the National Convention Centre on November 14, celebrating businesses that have demonstrated exceptional growth and contributed significantly to Laos’ socio-economic development over the past decades.
A total of 89 outstanding businesses were recognised, including Lao and foreign enterprises in 12 sectors including finance, industry, trade, IT, energy, and real estate.

Executive Vice President of the LNCCI, Mr Daovone Phachanthavong, highlighted the Chamber’s 35-year role as a bridge between the state and business, driving the nation’s socio-economic development.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone praised the private sector’s contribution to economic growth and urged all sectors to support the Green and Sustainable Economic Policy under the 10th National Development Plan for 2026-2030.
Representing BCEL, the bank’s Deputy Managing Director, Mr Nalin Silavongsith, received the prestigious award from Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr Malaythong Kommasith, alongside other awardees, in front of an audience of government officials, business leaders, and distinguished guests from across the country.
