Country General Manager for Thailand at Informa Markets, Mr Sanchai Noombunnam, and journalists meet with ProPak Asia staff.

Reporters gain insight into Thailand’s upcoming ProPak Asia exhibition

Journalists from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and India took part in the ProPak Asia 2026 Media Familiarisation Trip held in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 4–6.
The three-day programme enabled media representatives to learn more about developments in the processing and packaging industries and to gather information ahead of the ProPak Asia 2026 exhibition, which will take place from June 10–13 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Challenger Hall in Bangkok.
Organised by Informa Markets, the trip provided journalists with an opportunity to gain insight into Thailand’s growing role as a hub for innovation in food processing and packaging technology.
During the visit, media personnel toured the operations of KW Global Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., where they observed modern manufacturing systems and technological applications used in the industry.
The group also visited the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani exhibition complex, the venue for ProPak Asia 2026, where preparations are underway for the region’s largest international trade exhibition for processing and packaging technology.

The media familiarisation trip also encouraged cooperation and networking among journalists from participating countries, helping them share experiences and information to promote the upcoming exhibition and strengthen regional media collaboration.
ProPak Asia 2026 is expected to expand its global footprint as Asia’s premier platform for processing and packaging technologies across multiple industries.
The exhibition will bring together industry leaders, technology innovators, manufacturers and decision-makers from sectors including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal care, fast-moving consumer goods, and other consumer industries.
Country General Manager for Thailand at Informa Markets, Mr Sanchai Noombunnam, said “ProPak Asia 2026 will help companies access the technologies, partners and insights they need to improve efficiency, strengthen quality and compliance, and build more sustainable operations from production and processing to packaging, warehousing and logistics.”

More than 2,500 brands from 45 countries are expected to be represented, along with 15 international pavilions representing 14 countries and regions including Australia, Bavaria, China, France, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, North America, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan ROC, Spain and the United Kingdom.
The exhibition will feature over 18,000 technologies and machinery related to processing, filling, packaging, coding and marking, labelling, inspection, end-of-line systems, warehousing, cold chain and logistics.
ProPak Asia 2026 is also expected to welcome more than 80,000 exhibitors and trade visitors from ASEAN, China, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Europe and other global markets.
Alongside the exhibition, a series of conferences, seminars and industry forums will be organised, featuring more than 100 expert speakers who will discuss market trends, regulatory developments, sustainability frameworks and digital transformation strategies.
