Lao Brewery Company backs national road safety week 2026
The Lao Brewery Company (LBC) put its social responsibility goals into action by supporting the official launch of the National Road Safety Week 2026 at Patuxay Park on April 4.

The event, held with the theme of “Standing Drink Responsibly, Don’t Drive”, was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Saleumxay Kommasith, the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr Leklay Sivilay, and the Chairman of the Vientiane Administration Committee, Mr Sililatthongsing Thongpheng, alongside deputy ministers, officials from central and local authorities, business representatives, students and media personnel.

The activity was aimed at raising public awareness about road safety, reducing accidents, and promoting a “Don’t Drive Drunk” culture. It encouraged the use of electric vehicles (EVs) and public transport to enhance safety and address environmental issues.
This support reflected LBC’s vision of being a partner in sustainable social development and collaborating with all sectors to drive a national culture of safety.

Within the organisation, LBC implements a “Zero Accidents Culture” policy, which is a key goal of the Carlsberg Group. This policy has been consistently promoted since 2015 through communication, training and strict safety measures to build awareness among employees and related business units.
Participation in this event further extended the commitment of the Lao Brewery Company to creating a safe and sustainable society for the nation.
