This year’s seminar focused on enhancing employees’ understanding of traffic regulations to help prevent road accidents, aligning with LBC’s broader vision of achieving zero workplace-related incidents by 2030. This goal supports the company’s policy of fostering a “Zero Accidents Culture”, which forms the sixth pillar of its Together Towards Zero & Beyond (TTZAB) framework.
A presentation on road safety was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Lienxay, and a representative of Thongsangnang Driving School, followed by a question-and-answer session.
“We came today to promote road safety among LBC employee, focusing on traffic laws such as the use of helmets, observing speed limits, and fastening seat belts,” said Lieutenant Colonel Lienxay. “We aim to raise awareness so staff can also share this information with their families, contributing to a reduction in road accidents.”
He noted that most accidents in Vientiane involve motorcycles and emphasised the life-saving importance of helmets. “Helmets reduce the impact on the brain, potentially saving lives,” he explained.
