AGL hosts 2026 annual agents meeting
Vientiane, May 12-13, 2026 – Assurances General Laos (AGL) successfully hosted its 2026 annual agents meeting at the Amari Vientiane Hotel. The meeting was organised to evaluate the performance of the past year (2025) and outline strategic directions for 2027 and the five-year strategic plan (2026-2030) aimed at elevating service quality and driving business growth nationwide.
The event was chaired by Dr Sengaloun Inmyxai, CEO of AGL, alongside Mr Thavone Souliyavong, Deputy CEO, and Mr Sien Saygnasane, Deputy CEO, together with the AGL Management Team, Head of Departments, staff, and Agents from across the country.
The two-day event was characterised by a comprehensive atmosphere of knowledge exchange between the company and its agents. Key highlights included the summary results of AGL’s performance in 2025 and the unveiling of the five year strategic plan (2026-2030). This plan serves as a guideline for operational direction and sets ambitious goals to maintain the company's market share.

Furthermore, participants received updates on the current insurance market landscape and attended a regulatory briefing by a representative from the insurance regulator, Financial Regulatory Department, Ministry of Finance. The meeting also provided updates on product development, IT, claims, and marketing to support agents nationwide.
During the meeting, AGL held an awards ceremony to present certificates of merit to outstanding agents in 2025, recognizing their dedication and exceptional contributions to the company's success.
Beyond the intensive meeting agenda, the second day included Team Building, when the atmosphere turned vibrant with specially organized Team Building activities. Both the AGL team and agents participated in creative challenges and games, fostering unity and mutual understanding within the "AGL Family".
The meeting concluded happily with smiles, music, and award presentations for various activities.
