IndusTek introduces fire extinguishers to enhance public safety

IndusTek Co., Ltd. is introducing the use of fire extinguishers and the use of fire suppression systems to enhance public safety by equipping offices, other facilities and households with fire extinguishers, aiming to reduce the risk of accidental fires across the country.
A talk on the use of fire extinguishers was given by IndusTek to alert people to the risk of accidental fires and the immediate steps that can be taken to prevent them spreading, especially in residential areas, where they can cause extensive damage.
There is growing concern about the need for more effective fire prevention and response in emergency situations.

The Managing Director of IndusTek Co., Ltd., Mr Phonesavanh Xaypanya explains the use of fire extinguishers.

The company’s goal is to familiarise members of the public, including office workers, about fire protection systems in buildings, including proper design, installation, and maintenance in line with accepted safety standards.
The Managing Director of IndusTek Co., Ltd., Mr Phonesavanh Xaypanya, last week said an opening ceremony will feature a Joint Chamber Event with Industek, to be held at their new state-of-the-art Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Training Centre in Vientiane.
The talk comprised two main topics, namely the types of fire extinguishers and their properties, and how to choose a fire extinguisher and maintain it.
The event included a fire extinguisher demonstration on a field behind the Donchan Palace Hotel, conducted by a person with over 20 years of experience in fire safety training.
IndusTek Company Ltd. is leading the way in Laos and is looking to expand their business even further.
The company provides environmental measurement and consultation services for the improvement of workplace environments that contain high concentrations of dust, chemicals, noise, light, or heat that can cause illness or disease.
Proper measurements and technically accurate diagnosis of the work environment can lead to the proper elimination and control of hazardous sources in the workplace.
Laos’ first Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Training Centre is designed to provide job-related safety training to benefit both employers and employees.
The Centre provides both theoretical and practical training in all fields, ranging from preventive courses for people working with machinery, electricity and chemical hazards, working at heights, working in a confined space, fire extinguishing, rescue operations, working with heavy load lifting cranes and forklifts, and other training courses on general safety with regard to workplace activities.
