Lao Brewery teams up with Laochaleun Square to enhance movie-going experience
Lao Brewery Company and Laochaleun Square signed a partnership agreement on May 9 to deliver high-quality refreshments at the Laochaleun Cineplex, a heritage cinema in Savannakhet province.
The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of Lao Brewery Company in Vientiane and marked the official start of this collaboration.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to provide comprehensive distribution of Lao Brewery Company’s products within the Laochaleun Cineplex service area in Kaysone Phomvihane City, Savannakhet province.
The partnership aims to improve the movie-going experience by offering international-standard refreshments along with quality service. Consumers can now enjoy a wider selection of drinks and snacks while watching films in a modernised setting.
The Managing Director of Lao Brewery Company, Mr Henrik Juel Andersen, said the partnership was about more than business.
“This partnership is more than just a business alliance, it’s about enriching the consumer journey,” he said.
“By combining Laochaleun Cineplex’s state-of-the-art entertainment venue with LBC’s high-quality products, we’re creating a vibrant new destination for the community.”

Lao Brewery Company, established in 1973, is the leading producer and distributor of beverages in Laos.
The company has expanded its portfolio beyond beer to include drinking water, carbonated soft drinks under the PepsiCo brand, snacks, and wine.
Its product range includes Beerlao, Carlsberg, Somersby, K1664 Blanc, Tigerhead Drinking Water, Pepsi, Mirinda, 7UP, Sting, Lay’s, Tawan, Sunbites, and Cheetos.

This new collaboration adds to Lao Brewery’s growing presence in the lifestyle and leisure sector, with a focus on bringing people together through entertainment and refreshment.
Laochaleun Square Enterprise, which owns the Laochaleun Cineplex, is a key player in the service sector in Savannakhet.
The cinema has served the public for over 70 years and was renovated at the end of 2024. It now features three screening halls, including one equipped for 3D films and full surround sound.
The President of Laochaleun Square, Mr Sisoulinh Sokxay, said the collaboration with Lao Brewery would elevate the movie-watching experience.
“Watching a movie is not just about the film, it’s about the entire experience,” he said. “With LBC’s trusted products now available at our venues, guests can expect better refreshments, more variety, and top-notch quality to complement their time with us.”
Both companies are committed to offering new activities as part of this collaboration.
These will include movie premiere screenings, meet-and-greet events with celebrities, special promotions, value deals, and new product launches, all aimed at creating more enjoyable and memorable moments for cinema-goers in Savannakhet.
