Seminar equips Lao online entrepreneurs for sustainable e-commerce growth

Strengthening digital skills and promoting safe online business practices are becoming increasingly important as Laos continues to expand its digital economy and encourage more businesses to embrace e-commerce.
To support this goal, a seminar titled "Clearing Red Page, Make Your Facebook Live Shine, Solve All Facebook Problems – The First Time in Laos" was organised through the collaboration of V RICH APP, Meta Business Partner, RUAYSURE, and HAL Express (Houng Ah Loun Express).
The seminar brought together online entrepreneurs, digital marketers and business operators seeking practical solutions to common challenges faced on Facebook, while promoting long-term, sustainable growth in e-commerce.

The opening ceremony was led by the Director General of the Department of Internal Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mr Santisouk Phoumsavath, who highlighted the importance of developing a strong, standards-compliant e-commerce system as a foundation for driving Laos' digital economy.

The seminar focused on four key objectives designed to strengthen the capabilities of Lao online entrepreneurs.
The first was to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the root causes behind problems affecting online business pages and accounts, including "red pages", blocked accounts and suspended advertisements. By identifying these issues at their source, business operators can take appropriate action before they affect sales and customer engagement.

The second objective was to build awareness of risk prevention and management. Participants learned about practical approaches to reducing the likelihood of account restrictions and avoiding disruptions that could result in lost business opportunities, reduced customer confidence and declining sales.
The third objective was to explain professional ways of inspecting and managing Facebook business pages and advertising accounts. Participants were shown how to check and monitor the "Page Health" status of their accounts to better understand potential risks and maintain compliance with platform standards.
The seminar also encouraged entrepreneurs to build sustainable online sales systems rather than relying on short-term promotional campaigns. By developing a stronger digital business structure, operators can improve long-term growth, strengthen customer relationships and enhance business resilience.
The event was an important milestone in Laos' digital business sector as the country's first seminar to bring together professional-level partners dedicated to addressing "red page" issues while providing accurate knowledge and practical solutions for Facebook business management.
Through the collaboration between V RICH APP, Meta Business Partner, RUAYSURE and HAL Express, the seminar demonstrated a shared commitment to supporting Lao entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools needed to operate online businesses more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
As e-commerce continues to expand across Laos, initiatives such as this are expected to play an increasingly important role in helping businesses adapt to the digital marketplace, strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to the country's broader digital transformation.
