Lao Brewery Company supports the XYZ Art and Culture Centre to promote Lao culture at Bangkok Design Week 2026

Lao Brewery Company (LBC) continues its long-standing commitment to celebrating and preserving Lao culture by supporting the XYZ Art and Culture Centre in presenting the art project “KHUAN” at Bangkok Design Week 2026. The event is being held at Siam Discovery, Thailand, from January 30 to February 8, 2026.
This support reflects LBC’s pride in contributing to a meaningful cultural exchange that brings one of Laos’ most treasured spiritual beliefs to the international stage, showcasing Lao identity, creativity, and cultural heritage through contemporary design.

Inspired by the traditional Baci Ceremony, “SOU KHUAN” represents the invisible essence or soul believed to reside within all living beings. Deeply woven into Lao daily life and traditions, the concept of SOU KHUAN symbolises balance, unity, and well-being. Through a modern artistic interpretation, the project transforms this ancient belief into a tangible and immersive experience that resonates with international audiences.
By supporting the XYZ Art and Culture Centre’s participation at Bangkok Design Week 2026, LBC reinforces its role as more than a beverage brand—standing alongside Lao artists and communities to ensure local culture is not only preserved, but also shared, celebrated, and appreciated on a global platform.
