Lao Brewery Company provides over 1 Billion Kip in aid to flood victims nationwide
Lao Brewery Company Limited has provided more than one billion kip worth of drinking water and soft drinks to support people affected by flooding across the country, reinforcing its commitment to helping communities during times of hardship.
The assistance was delivered in coordination with government authorities in the central, southern and northern provinces as part of ongoing relief efforts for flood-affected communities.

At the end of August, the company joined senior government officials on a visit to seven provinces – Borikhamxay, Khammun, Savannakhet, Saravan, Champasak, Sekong and Attapeu – to deliver relief supplies to people affected by flooding.
Representatives of the provincial administrations received the company's donations, with the total value of assistance provided during the visits exceeding 600 million kip.
The company continued its relief efforts in the northern region on September 3, when it provided additional assistance under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The donation ceremony was held at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, where Director of Corporate Affairs, Social Responsibility and Sustainability of Lao Brewery Company Limited, Mr Sitthixay Kettavong presented the assistance on behalf of the company's executive board and staff.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Manothong Vongsay received the donation, which was valued at more than 400 million kip.

The relief supplies included 10,000 packs of TigerHead drinking water in 1.5-litre bottles and 4,000 packs of soft drinks. The products were intended to help ensure that people affected by the floods had access to clean and safe beverages during the relief period.
Together, the assistance provided in the central, southern and northern regions brought the total value of Lao Brewery Company's flood-relief contribution to more than 1 billion kip.
Managing Director of Lao Brewery Company, Mr Henrik Juel Andersen, said the company regards social responsibility as an essential part of its business operations.
“As a leader in the beverage manufacturing industry in the Lao PDR, we consider social responsibility to be an essential part of our business operations,” he said.
He added that whenever Lao people face hardship, particularly as a result of natural disasters, the company is committed to working through government organisations to provide assistance and encouragement to affected communities.
The company aims to help people overcome difficult periods and return to normal life as quickly as possible, he said.
The flood-relief programme forms part of Lao Brewery Company's broader social contribution activities. The company has implemented programmes in areas including education, public health, sports, culture, agriculture and environmental conservation.
Through these initiatives, the company seeks to contribute to communities while supporting the country's sustainable development.
The latest relief effort highlights the role of cooperation between the private sector and government authorities in responding to natural disasters, while demonstrating Lao Brewery Company's continued support for communities facing difficult circumstances.
