Lao and Russian dignitaries attend an international patriotic event titled "Garden of Memory" at the National University of Laos. Organised by the Russian House, the event brought together Russian diplomats, the leadership of the country's largest university, and the Lao military elite. The ceremony was attended by Sergey Zhestkiy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Laos; Alexander Radkov, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office; the Rector of the National University of Laos; and leaders of the K. Phomvihane Military Medical Academy. As a sign of unbreakable friendship and shared historical memory, students and faculty of the university, along with distinguished guests, planted mango saplings along the university's paths. In Laos, the mango is a symbol of life, prosperity, and the unbreakable bond between generations. |
