Souphanouvong University in Luang Prabang hosted the 2026 UNESCO UNITWIN Women in Digital and Entrepreneurship Programme from June 22-26, bringing together female students to strengthen their digital, leadership and entrepreneurial skills in preparation for employment. The programme was jointly organised by the university and the Asia Pacific Women’s Information Network Centre (APWINC) at Sookmyung Women’s University in the Republic of Korea, with support from the Korean Ministry of Education. Thirty students from six faculties took part in workshops and activities led by APWINC experts. The closing ceremony was attended by the Vice Rector, Dr Somchay Phaignavong. |
