Chinese association offers food donations to hospitals 

A Chinese Association and Overseas Chinese have announced plans to provide food supplies to hospitals in Laos during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The association’s members have donated 150 million kip worth of food boxes to five hospitals in Laos including Mahosot, Mittaphab, 103, 150 and Setthathirath hospitals.

The Chinese Association handed over food boxes to Mahosot hospital on Friday, according to Pathedlao Daily Newspapers reported on Saturday.
The association will continue to provide food boxes to Lao hospitals and are expected to continue providing 300 food boxes per day to each hospital in one month while the crisis persists, representative Mr Leng Savanhvaly told local media.
The Chinese association and Overseas Chinese also planned to donate food for children with disabilities in Laos.
Over past periods, the Chinese association and Oversea Chinese has donated funds in times of natural disasters, including 180 million kip to Attapeu province, 50 million kip to Khammuan province and 50 million kip for Savannakhet province.
