Govt, partners draft five-year plan to boost trade

 
The government, in collaboration with development partners and the private sector, is formulating a strategic plan to promote trade and economic development as Laos prepares to graduate from Least Developed Country status.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce hosted the Trade and Private Sector Working Group Meeting in Vientiane on July 24 to gather feedback on the draft five-year development plan for 2026-2030, which aims to drive inclusive growth, strengthen competitiveness, and attract investment across key sectors.
